Since 2014, Seven Springs Homestead has been a labor of love for Amy and Larry Lammers. As founding vendors of the Barrow County Farmers Market they’ve been bringing the community a wide variety of fresh, thoughtfully grown, and handmade goods for years.
At their market booth, you’ll find:

- Free-range chicken eggs
- Honey from their own hives
- Jams and jellies made from fruit grown right on their farm
- Fresh and dried herbs
- Seasonal produce
- Blueberries and blackberries
- Granola made with whole ingredients
- Baking mixes made from freshly milled flour
Amy has a deep care for both her land and animals. You can tell her chickens are well-loved. When she heads out to the chicken run, they all come pouring into the garden, following her closely in hopes of a treat. It’s no wonder she’s affectionately known as the “Crazy Chicken Lady” at the market, thanks to her happy flock and her collection of chicken-themed t-shirts that always bring a smile to shoppers.
She grows much of her produce in a high tunnel, where she’s currently experimenting with unique crops like ginger and turmeric. She also grows in raised beds and in-ground beds throughout the homestead. Though she says she wasn’t a “born farmer,” Amy has truly embraced the homestead life and cherishes the farm and family she’s built. Her mission is to help her neighbors eat locally and more nutritiously, one basket of fresh food at a time.
Amy is also a passionate advocate for bee conservation. With her motto, “save the land, save the bees!”, she makes every planting decision with pollinators in mind. Her fields and flowers provide a safe haven for bees, ensuring their vital role in our ecosystem continues.
I can’t talk about Seven Springs Homestead without mentioning Max and Bosco, the farm’s two loyal Great Pyrenees. Gentle but protective, they keep watch over the flock and welcome guests with sweet affection.
Whether you’re stopping by for fresh eggs, a jar of jam, or a bag of wholesome granola, supporting Seven Springs Homestead means supporting a farm that is rooted in care, sustainability, and love for the community.
Visit Amy at the Barrow County Farmers Market this season, you’ll leave with delicious food and a deeper appreciation for the farmers who make it possible.
