Vendor Spotlight: Bounty & Wood Farm

Sometimes the best farms begin with a simple love of growing food.

For John and Joan of Bounty & Wood Farm, gardening started as a way to provide fresh, healthy produce for their own table. For the past three years, they have been cultivating a thriving urban garden on their half-acre property in Auburn, Georgia, growing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables for family and friends.

As their garden continued to flourish, John and Joan realized they were producing more than enough to share. Last year, they began offering their harvest to the local community, and this season they are excited to bring even more fresh produce to market.

Bounty & Wood Farm is built on a commitment to natural growing practices. They create their own compost, never use pesticides, and utilize intensive growing methods to maximize the productivity of their small but mighty growing space. The result is an impressive selection of fresh, seasonal produce grown with care and attention.

Their fields produce everything from elderberries, onions, tomatoes, peppers, corn, eggplant, potatoes,

squash, zucchini, peas, and leafy greens to many other seasonal favorites throughout the year.

For John, gardening is more than a hobby. It is a lifelong passion. Having grown up gardening, he developed an appreciation for fresh, farm-to-table food at an early age. Today, he and Joan continue that tradition by growing nutritious produce and sharing it with their neighbors.

We are proud to welcome Bounty & Wood Farm to our market family and invite you to discover the difference that locally grown, naturally cultivated produce can make. Stop by their booth, say hello, and learn more about the people behind the harvest.
