There are some gardens that grow more than flowers. Rory’s Garden is one of them.
In 2021, after the unimaginable loss of her daughter Rory during the 27th week of pregnancy, Lindsay Drummond turned to the soil in search of something healing. What began with six small pots of ranunculus corms became a quiet act of hope. When those first blooms appeared the following spring, they carried with them a kind of beauty that felt bigger than the garden itself.
Something so simple, planting flowers to process grief, slowly took root and became more. A backyard transformed into a thriving cut flower garden filled with rows of vibrant annuals, soft peonies, and fragrant David Austin roses. Each stem is grown with care from seed to bouquet, using only organic practices and sustainable methods that honor the land as much as the life it produces.

Behind every arrangement is intention. Every seed selected, every bloom cut, every bouquet wrapped is
part of a larger story of remembrance, resilience, and love.
For Lindsay, Rory’s Garden is more than a flower farm. It’s a vision for connection. As she begins her very first season selling flowers, her goal is simple but powerful: to share Rory’s flowers with the community that has brought her comfort, and to create space for others navigating grief to feel seen and supported.
Looking ahead, Lindsay and her husband are building something even bigger. They plan to offer flower-growing education and resources for those walking through loss. With a website in the works, they hope to cultivate a place where beauty and healing can coexist.
Because here, every flower carries a story.
And every bouquet is an invitation to remember, to heal, and to grow.
